Wobbles Wednesday Week 10 - I lost a bit!


Another quite stagnant week.  With recent events at home I've needed the odd sweet fix and the kids sweets have suited me fine.  I like the odd milk bottle or Haribo sweet, but to my defence I am good at keeping to just 2 or 3 sweets.  I don't feel the need to demolish the lot.

Today I spent the day with my mum, as the car needed to go in for its MOT.  She's been a little under the weather lately with a cold and a female niggle and she admitted to being naughty with sweets and chocolate recently.  When she told me that between her and dad they tend to feel the need to "finish the packet" it didn't make me feel so bad for my more controlled indulgence.

The weigh in this morning was ok.  I weighed in at 11 stone 4.2 lbs.  I always round up to the nearest pound, which means telling you lot I am 11 stone 5 lbs.  But given that last week the scales said 11 stone 4.8 lbs, it shows that I have lost half a pound really.

Although my progress has slowed (to almost standstill) I'm not gaining weight.  This time last year I had given up.  This year I am still trying.

Mum took us out for lunch today.  She had a BLT toasted sandwich with fries. I had a prawn jacket potato.  I suspect my meal was lower in calories, even though hers looked way tastier!

I want to keep going, I want to lose weight.

  3. I would of certainly ate the BLT and fries!! you are far stronger then me! i dont think next week i will be doing any better than this week as i had a meal out on wednesday lunch and a takeaway on wednesday night and Fish and Chips thursday ... dear god where is my will power?
